A performance driven individual with broad experience in accounting and financial management, Mr. Wright’s expertise includes knowledge in the areas of general accounting, staff management, financial management, treasury, budget preparation and monitoring, product and project costing and international financial reporting standards, and risk management.

Mr. Wright joined FIRM Insurance Brokers in 2018 and during his tenure, he has excelled in his contribution to the company as our financial manager specializing in Accounting, Financial Management, Risk Assessment and Business Strategy. A seasoned finance professional he has over two decades of industry experience, which allows FIRM to continuously deliver tailored financial solutions to support our business growth, operational efficiency, and compliance.

With a solid background in corporate finance and accounting, George has held senior positions at other leading Jamaican companies, including, Tortuga Caribbean Rum Cake Jamaica Ltd., and Flexpak Ltd. His expertise and experience also spans financial reporting, budgeting, product costing, regulatory compliance, and audit coordination. He is known for his strategic thinking, leadership in turnaround situations, and strong command of international financial standards.

Mr.Wright’s education and credentials include ACCA Level 3 professional qualification, Certified Accounting Technician (CAT), and a Diploma in Computer Studies from University of Technology.  He is currently in pursuit of his Master’s Degree in Finance.
